Operastar luck runs out for Danny

MUSICIAN Danny Jones proved himself to be a good sport when he crashed out of ITV’s Popstar to Operastar contest.
The 23-year-old Boltonian, of pop-rock group McFly, narrowly avoided the chop in last week’s round of the opera singing show after he finished bottom and judges bailed him out. But his luck ran out on Friday night’s show, which featured the final five contestants.
After hearing the news from the judges, Danny remained upbeat. He said: “I’ve had so much fun. I've learned a lot and I’m going to have a holiday.”
