A 47-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a public health scare caused when white powder was posted to Bolton parking bosses.
A worker at Bolton Parking Services, in Chorley Street, opened an envelope containing the powder, a parking ticket and an abusive note.The powder was later found to be cornflour.
A man was arrested in Bolton on Friday evening on suspicion of sending a noxious substance with intent to cause people to fear that their lives were in danger and has been bailed until March.
