JOEY O'Brien, Wanderers' Dublin-born midfield player, continued his progress through the Republic of Ireland's representative ranks with impressive performances for the U17s in a four-team tournament in Portugal.
A first-year scholar at the Wanderers Academy, O'Brien was acknowledged as Ireland's 'Player of the Tournament', adding to honours he collected at schoolboy level.
