THE Mayor of Bolton, Cllr Alan Wilkinson, is looking for a special local person to be the Bolton Man of the Year.
The campaign will culminate in a special celebratory dinner at the Reebok next May, but in the meantime, the search is on.
The campaign emulates the highly successful Bolton Woman of the Year competition, which has run for the past five years. Both campaigns seek to honour those who work to improve the quality of life for others in our community.
We know that there are some remarkable characters out there, women and men whose dedication makes a difference. Now is the time to identify them, and honour them.
We hope that local people will aid the Mayor in his hunt for this local VIP. We certainly will.
