A BUS Company has announced that a Bolton service will be affected during Friday's one day strike by drivers.

It will be a second strike by Stagecoach Ribble drivers who are fighting for an increased wage claim.

Friday's strike will affect Service 125 - the Preston/Chorley/Bolton bus which runs half hourly from 6.15am to 6.30pm.

A spokesman for the comapny said they were doing everything to minimise disruption to its services and apologised for the inconvenience caused to customer.

The company has proposed to give drivers a 28-month deal with a senior rate of £5.50 an hour on January 1, 2001 and with a review date of May 1, 2002.
