USED syringes were recovered from a burned-out Radcliffe drugs den.
The discovery was made last night by firefighters who tackled the blaze at a derelict terraced house in Water Street.
Bury's environmental health department will be contacted by fire chiefs over the find.
Three crews were called to the property at 11.30pm after several fires were started in the unoccupied house.
A spokesman for Whitefield fire service said: "People have been using this house as a drug den for some time.
"The council and the police have been informed."
