UNITY Brook battled back to snatch a 4-4 draw after coming from 3-1 down at half-time against Morris Rangers.

They hit back three times in the final 20 minutes for the draw.

Farmers Arms took an early lead through Hayland and further goals from Rody and Urmston gave them a first half lead. After the restart Lodge Bank scored twice through Pole and Fitton but two goals from Hayland and one from Amplett extended Farmers lead. Irvine scored twice for Lodge Bank but it was not enough to win.

Robin Rovers and Finishers fought out a scoreless first half but after the break Robin Rovers took the lead through Jones. But Finishers levelled it within two minutes. Rovers took the lead once more only to see it slip away again. With five minutes from time Jones scored again to give Rovers a win.

Great Lever are still looking for their first point losing again at home. B S Heating opened the score through Cook. Two further goals from Light and Bury in the second half sealed the tie. City Hotel still without a point went down again at home to Paddys Hump.

Man and Scythe beat Harper Green at home lifting them up the table they led at half time 1-0. They scored twice more after the break to Harper Green's one.

Crofters for the second week running were beaten by a very high score. Early in the first half Masons were awarded a penalty which was converted b Hall. Just before half time Charnock added a second. One minute into the second half Shuttleworth made it three. two further goals from Hall completed the scoring. PIONEER SUNDAY LEAGUE
