A MASSIVE bottle of loose change — worth up to £2,000 — is helping to kickstart the Hospice at Home Appeal.
Bolton barber Gareth Barlow has amassed the pile of spare change, collected in an old water cooler tub over the last five years.
And as soon as it is full he plans to donate its contents to Bolton Hospice.
To fill it to its brim he is urging customers at his Gareth Barlow Barbers in Chorley Old Road, to donate money to guess how much the tub contains.
Whoever is successful will win a free haircut every month for six months. Mr Barlow said: “I started putting coins in the bottle about five years ago.
