Search begins for youth MPs

THE search is on to find Bolton’s next Youth MPs.

The current MPs are coming to the end of their two-year term.

Ciara Steele, children and young people participation officer, said: “So far, 18 young people have shown an interest and there are nine young people standing for election.

“It requires quite a level of commitment and I’d recommend any young people who get involved to join the council for a few years before standing for election.”
