BUS passengers can save cash and take a step back in time — with historic jubilee fares on Saturday.
On certain routes, Arriva Bolton will be charging adults 20p and children 10p per journey.
The cheap fares are to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.
Jubilee fares services are the 534 between Bolton and the Oldhams Estate, the 535 between Bolton and Belmont, the 537 between Bolton and Edgworth, the 541 between Bolton and the Toppings Estate, the 575 between Bolton and Horwich, and the 715 between Bolton and the Beehive.
Henry Hughes, general manager at Arriva Bolton, said: “What better way to start a weekend of celebration than offering our customers the chance to hop on board and get out and about for some historic prices?
“We are happy to be able to join in the Bank Holiday fun and offer something to our customers, which is definitely worth a fanfare.”
