n A MAN has appeared in court after a stabbing took place in Farnworth.
A 41-year-old man suffered multiple wounds when he was stabbed at flats in Ullswater Drive at 6.30am on Wednesday.
Daniel Herring, aged 27, of no fixed address, appeared at Bolton Magistrates’ Court yesterday charged with entering as a trespasser with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm.
The victim was discharged from hospital on Wednesday night after having stitches.
It is understood he suffered wounds to his arm, head and back.
Two other men, both aged 19, were also arrested. One has been released without charge and the other has been bailed until August 8.
The case has been adjourned until July 13 when he will appear at Bolton Crown Court. Herring has been remanded in custody.
