A CHEF who exposed himself to two women on New Year’s Eve has been given a community order.

Polish national Karol Kisielewski, aged 24, of Bradford Street, Bolton, admitted exposing himself in Moor Lane in the town centre on December 31.

Bolton Crown Court heard one of the victims had been a victim of a similar offence previously.

Kisielewski works 30 hours a week as a chef at Manchester Museum’s restaurant.

Kisielewski has a number of previous convictions including shoplifting, criminal damage, attempted robbery and was in court seven days before the exposure offence for being drunk and disorderly and assaulting a police officer.

Judge Elliot Knopf, sentencing, said: “You were born in Poland and sadly unlike the position of many, many people from Poland you have caused difficulty by committing offences over the years for reasons which appear to be tied in with drink. You have been leading a useful existence, you have a job, you are in a normal relationship with a long-standing partner.

“On the day of the exposure you had drunk yourself into oblivion as you have no recollection of the day. You can’t hide behind intoxication and say you can’t remember what it was you were doing.”

He was ordered to complete a 10-month community order with a 10-month supervision requirement.
