TAMARA Hindley might only be aged 14 but she has already been striking a pose for top model agencies.

The Canon Slade pupil was invited to London by Storm Modelling Agency, which represents Kate Moss.

She also took part in a photoshoot with Alan Strutt, who has snapped some of the world’s most glamorous women, including Naomi Campbell and Madonna. Her proud mum, Dawn Hindley, an interior designer said: “It’s something Tamara has wanted to do for quite a while now, so I’m happy to go along with it as she’s quite determined.”

“We sent pictures to agencies around six months ago and had some local interest, but then out of the blue, we had an email from Storm to go to London and a separate offer to have a photoshoot with Alan Strutt.”

Tamara, of Harpers Lane, who has a brother, Myles, aged 21, and 16- year-old sister, Dani, is no stranger to modelling.

When she was a toddler she had several modelling jobs .

Mrs Hindley, aged 46, said: “We were told that Tamara is probably a fashion model, as opposed to a commercial model.”

And Tamara, whose interests include shopping, swimming and rounders, has also been able to meet top models, including Katie Price, who has given her advice on bullying.

Her mother, and father, HR manager, Stewart, admit they had their concerns about their daughter’s model ambitions.

Mrs Hindley said: “Her father and I were a bit wary due to her age and how often you hear of teenagers developing eating disorders, weight issues and similar problems but she has a level head on her shoulders, and we have a close family relationship, so we are confident Tamara would share and discuss any problems or worries.”

Now, as Bolton’s next top model is considering how far she wants to take the new career path, her mum added: “We’ll probably keep her close, in the North West, until she’s a bit older.”
