Motorcyclist injured following crash in Darcy Lever
A MOTOCYCLIST suffered serious head and leg injuries following a collision with a car.
The RMR Superbyke collided with a black Volkswagen Sharan, being driven by a man, at around 8am in Long Lane, Darcy Lever at its junction with Copthorne Drive this morning.
The rider, a man, suffered a fractured skull and serious leg injuries. He was taken to Royal Bolton Hospital and was transferred to Salford Royal for surgery.
Nobody was arrested.
Road closures are still in place.
