THE Ladies Section at Great Lever and Farnworth Golf Club have raised more than £1,000 for Bolton Hospice’s Hospice at Home Appeal.
Fundraising included numerous events such as a fashion show, a garden party and a coffee morning.
Lady Captain Susan Lowe led the campaign and with the support of her fellow golfers, raised £1,125.
The money will go towards the appeal, launched by The Bolton News and Bolton Hospice last year, which recently reached its £110,000 target. Community fundraiser Stephanie Lacaille said: “The hard work and effort shown by Susan and all of the 28 members of the Ladies Section is tremendous, and we at Bolton Hospice are extremely grateful for their donation which has helped us to reach our Hospice at Home Appeal target of £110,000.”
