Woman suffers spinal injuries in Leigh road smash
A WOMAN was cut out of a car and taken to hospital with spinal injuries after a road smash in Leigh.
The crash between two cars happened in Atherleigh Way, near the Kirkhall Lane junction, at about 5pm tonight.
Fire crews had cut the roof off the black Audi Q3 so the 32-year-old woman could be taken to Wigan Royal Infirmary.
A man managed to get out of his black BMW 320 before firefighters arrived.
