A VET practice is hoping to reunite a cute kitten, a bonny bunny and a “cheeky monkey” with their owners after they were found wandering in Bolton.

The two kittens and rabbit were discovered by members of the public in three different parts of Heaton and taken to a local veterinary surgery.

Now nurse Lisa Edwards is hoping to reunite them with their owners.

They are being cared for at Queens Park Veterinary Surgery in Chorley New Road where the white female kitten, black and white male kitten and female lop-eared fawn coloured rabbit are proving popular with all the staff.

Ms Edwards said: “The little girl kitten is really sweet, the little boy is a cheeky monkey and the rabbit is incredibly tame.”The white kitten, thought to be about 12 weeks old, was discovered in Queens Park and the black and white kitten, which is around eight or nine weeks old was found on the doorstep of a house in Chorley New Road.

Ms Edwards said: “They are both too young to be out on their own so we think they are escapees.” The rabbit, found under a car in Park Road, is also thought to have escaped from home and was possibly a house rabbit as it is litter trained and very easy to handle.

Anyone who recognises their pet should get in touch with the surgery on 01204 525066.
