BOLTON MP Yasmin Qureshi presented members of the St Peter and Paul’s RC Primary School student council with badges on Friday.
The MP for Bolton South East handed out the badges to 14 children from year groups one to six, and took part in a question and answer session.
After answering questions on life in Parliament, Mrs Qureshi tweeted: “Thank you @StPeterPaulPri for having me this morning.
"Some of the most charming and bright children I've had the pleasure of meeting.”
Trish Grogan, the school’s headteacher, said: “Yasmin was brilliant with the children, giving them an inspirational talk about the importance of school and achieving whatever you aim for and nothing is beyond your grasp.”
