TALENTED youngsters left their fans making a racket after impressing at a nationwide dance contest.

The street dance crew �— called Noize �— travelled down from their base at the Theatre Dance Studio in Rossini Street, Halliwell, to Manchester for the Soar I.N.K competition and won over judges with their 'mash up' routine, to songs such as Nicki Minaj hit Anaconda.

During the contest, each team of seven had 90 seconds to perform their street dance routine, and Noize were judged to be the second best of the bunch in the under 14s category.

The members of Noize are Mia Ceraldi, Vanessa Yau, Tegan Robinson, Connor Wells, Lisa Entwistle, Evie Pendlebury and Tom McKay and the youngsters also gained some experience by performing solo routines.

The studio's principal Sarah Ward said: "The children did extremely well and we are very proud of their achievements.

"They worked very hard to prepare for the event and did very well on the day."

The studio teaches children in hip-hop, cheerleading and drama and even has its own film club.
