AN elderly woman missing from home is being sought by police.

Mavis Dodd, aged 77, was last seen at 10:30am today in St. George's Street, Bolton.

Mavis has dementia and police need the public's help to locate her as soon as possible.

She is described as approximately 5ft 3in tall, of a slim build with grey, short hair.

She was last seen wearing a brown check coat, blue scarf, blue trousers, pink flat shoes and carrying a black bag.
