BOLTON will see a mixed day of rain, sunny spells and possible wintry conditions later on this evening.
The day has got off to a mild but wet start, and the Met Office is forecasting that this rain will clear during the morning.
Sunny spells and isolated showers are expected throughout the afternoon, but the showers could turn wintry on higher ground.
The Met Office has issued a weather warning for possible ice and snow across Greater Manchester, which is in place from 4pm until 10am tomorrow morning, but the wintry weather is most likely to affect those on higher ground.
Today’s temperatures will reach a high of 10 °C, with a low of 3 °C this evening.
