Police arrest man wanted in connection with attack on retired firefighter
POLICE have arrested a man wanted in connection with an alleged attack on a retired firefighter in his own home in Kearsley.
Marcus Cameron was arrested on Tuesday night in Flixton, Trafford, by officers who moved in thanks to help from readers of The Bolton News.
Cameron, aged 25, was also wanted in connection with an assault in Tonge Moor on March 11.
Ch Insp Mark Dexter, of the specialist operations branch of the vehicle crime unit, said: "Thank you to members of the public who helped us trace this wanted man."
