YOUNG people have been flocking to Bolton Library and Museum this summer to take part in special holiday activities,.
Last week, the children drew inspiration from the Incredible Animals exhibition to create their own birds and came face to face with some of the creatures in the display.
The exhibition aims to introduce visitors to some of the species which inhabit the earth — from parrots to insects, kangaroos to otters, seashells to penguins and lots of weird and wonderful facts.
Throughout the holidays, Bolton Central Library and Museum has been staging activities in the galleries on Tuesday and Thursdays for children aged four to 11, from 1.30pm to 3pm.
