THESE pictures by Bolton News reader, Amy Smith, appear to show something odd hovering above last night’s supermoon.
Amy, of Tonge Moor, zoomed in to capture the moon’s brightness and reveal the surrounding cosmos during the rare celestial event between Sunday-Monday, September 27-28.
The resulting image of an over-exposed moon appears to show a humanoid face, turned to the right, emerging above it.
Below, a long neck appears to extend through the moon to a pale torso.
Amy said: “I took these photos of the lunar eclipse and it looks like an alien or something is around the moon. Very freaky. I could only see this as I zoomed in to take a picture.”
Is it just a trick of the light, or something more sinister? What do you think?
