LITTLE Elliyah Kazi and her friends really are head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to helping others.

Elliyah, aged four, had her beautiful long hair cut off for the Little Princess Trust which make wigs for children who have lost their own through cancer treatment.

Her pals also showed their kindness by raising £80 through a Just Giving page towards the cost of the £356 needed to make a wig. Her classmates and friends at St Michael’s CE Primary School in Great Lever organised a non-uniform day on World Cancer Day and all proceeds went to the Little Princess Trust.

Harris Hayat, aged nine, even donated £20 of his own pocket money.

Elliyah had her gorgeous thick locks cut at Scissor Sisters in Farnworth. She said: “"I'm very happy my school is helping me to help the poorly children."

Her teacher, Beth Davey, said: “We're really proud as a school that our children are setting such an example, showing that our school motto of sharing, caring and learning together really means something.”
