A NEW ‘beauty spot’ is officially opening in Bolton town centre this weekend.

Sally Salon Services — one of the country’s leading hair and beauty suppliers — has arrived on the corner of Market Street and Deansgate creating seven new jobs.

The store opened earlier this month but the Mayor of Bolton Cllr Carole Swarbrick will officially launch the store tomorrow.

Bosses say the shop will offer customers an “unrivalled” range of hair and beauty products as well as “industry leading” training courses.

Based across two floors, the new store boasts a spacious layout and will welcome retail customers as well as hair and beauty professionals.

Michael Dewey, managing director of Sally Salon Services UK and Ireland, said, "We’re delighted to open our first store in Bolton which has allowed us to create a significant number of jobs in the area, and will give customers access to our unrivalled product range, specialist services and expert business advice.

“The store will be a great addition to Bolton’s retail line-up and we look forward to welcoming customers through our doors for the grand opening event.”

Bolton Council’s executive cabinet member for regeneration, Cllr Ebrahim Adia, added: “Sally Salon Services is an established global company, well known for its selection of hair and beauty products, and the store is an excellent addition to the town centre.

“We’re working hard to develop the retail offer in the town centre and the store will complement and benefit from the ongoing Market Place Shopping Centre redevelopment. He added: “Our Business Bolton team has also helped with recruitment on behalf of the Team Bolton partnership.”

The store will offer local customers and hair and beauty professionals products from brands like OPI, L’Oréal and Babyliss, as well as a range of affordable own brand products.
