PUPILS were celebrating after picking up their results from Kearsley Academy.
Computer savvy Lucy Foster, 16, achieved her top grades ECDL with a distinction star and also picked up Bs in English language and maths.
Lucy, who is going on to study at Pendleton College, said: “I am very happy that I have got the grades I needed to to get in to the college and do the A-levels I wanted.
“I would like to be a teacher in the future but I am not sure in which subject yet.
“I have enjoyed being at Kearsley Academy and especially enjoyed this last year. I am just looking forward to relaxing for a while now.”
Natasha Culshaw, 16, was also celebrating after gaining a distinction star in ECDL and is staying on at Kearsley Academy to study business and IT.
Musical teenager Liam Smethurst, 16, got his top grades in English, maths and music with three Bs.
He is taking his passion for music to BIMM UK Music College in Manchester to study bass. He added: “I want to have a career in something to do with music.”
Headteacher Suzanne Pountain said: “We are thrilled our students have worked so hard and have got into their next phase of education.”
