A GARAGE was set ablaze in an arson attack in the middle of the night.
A crew from Bolton Central Fire Station spent around an hour tackling the fire in Carslake Avenue, Bolton, after being called to the scene at 3am.
A fire service spokesman confirmed that the blaze, in a row of garages near to homes in the residential street, was started deliberately and that the contents of the garage were destroyed, though there was no damage to the structure of the building.
