FOLK fans, classical afficionados, and jazz lovers will all find something to enjoy at this year’s Horwich Music Festival.
Organisers have revealed the line-up for the three-day festival, due to take place in May, as the town gets set to welcome a wide variety of artists to the Horwich Community Centre.
The festival will kick off on Friday, May 5, with well-known folk duo Hanky Park.
From 6pm to 8.30pm that night, radio and television presenter Mark Radcliffe will be hosting an evening of music and conversation.
Horwich RMI Brass Band will be performing from 2pm to 3.30pm on Saturday, May 6, followed later that evening by a jazz and acoustic double bill with Pete King and the Nicola Farnon Trio.
On the Sunday, classical music fans can enjoy performance by harpist Alice Kerwan and the Northern String Quartet.
