PETER Kay will be revealing the first two episodes of the next series of Car Share at Vue cinemas across the UK.

The Bolton comedian, who featured on the BBC’s Red Nose Day programme on Friday in historic footage, will be screening the programmes in more than 150 cinemas on Friday night, including Bolton, with all proceeds from ticket sales going towards Comic Relief.

Alongside the highly anticipated episodes, there will also be never-before-seen footage and outtakes from the BAFTA award winning comedy series.

The night will feature an exclusive question and answer session alongside his co-star Sian Gibson.

Comic Relief founder and Love Actually director Richard Curtis, said: “Peter has been a long-standing supporter of Red Nose Day, from honing his miming skills for the Amarillo single, to taking on his toughest challenge, Sit Down for Comic Relief, and the amazing Phoenix Nights Live, which made more than £5million.

“We’re always bowled over by his generosity and the originality of the stuff he does for us. The first series of Car Share was genius and so we’re completely thrilled that he is offering up a special broadcast of the new series across the UK to help raise cash for Comic Relief this year.”

Peter said “I’m so excited that we’re able to premiere some of the new series and raise money for Comic Relief. I really hope people enjoy this very special night.”

Screenings at Vue in Bolton will take place at 7.45pm, 8.45pm and 10.15pm on Friday, March 31.
