THIS was the moment a Bolton MP was made a knight of the realm.
Sir David Crausby was knighted by Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace on Friday morning in recognition of his parliamentary and political services.
The 70-year-old, who was born in Bury, has held the seat of Bolton North East for Labour since 1997 and began his political career when he was elected to serve on Bury Council in 1979.
