REAL ale fans will be toasting a village beer festival taking place this weekend.
The festival will take place at the Farmers Arms in Darcy Lever.
There will be ales from breweries including Bank Top in Bolton, Mayflower Brewery in Wigan, Brightside Brewing Company in Radcliffe and Lancaster Brewery.
Local councillor Sean Hornby and publican will also be taking part in the event.
He has arranged through the Queens in Bradley Fold of which is he is landlord, for brewery Daniel Thwaites to suppl a barrel of Thwaites Original to raise money for charity.
The festival opens at 2pm and runs until 10pm both days.
