FEAST your eyes on this lovely lot!

We appealed to the people of Bolton to send in selfies in a bid to be crowned Mr or Miss Bolton News 2017 - and they did not let us down.

In just over a week, we have received more than 100 fantastic photographs from people all over Bolton.

Entries for Mr and Miss Bolton News 2017 are now closed. Look out for the next stage of the competition in August

Areas represented include Breightmet, Harwood, Farnworth and the town centre to name a few.

It is great to see such a wide range of smiling, happy faces keen to be crowned Mr or Miss Bolton News 2017.

We are on the hunt for a man and a woman to represent their hometown in 2017, a very special year for The Bolton News as the newspaper celebrates its 150th anniversary.

In December, we will be holding a very special event in the Premier Suite of the Macron Stadium - and you could be there.

The night will be hosted by Bolton comedy legend Peter Kay and all proceeds will go to Bolton Hospice.

We are still accepting entries – e mail your selfie to melanie.disley@nqnw.co.uk with your name, age, phone number and the area of Bolton you live.

The winners do not have to be a couple and each competitor should send in his or her entry separately.

You can also use the contributions tool below.

The competition is open to anyone over the age of 18 who lives within Bolton's borough boundaries.

Other prizes include: Back, neck and shoulder-tension buster for man/ luxury back soufflé treatment for woman at The Doll House, Bolton; Man’s haircut/ woman's blow dry at Copperlights hairdressers; Four tickets each for The Light Cinema in Bolton; Two meals for two people at Odessa Café in Bolton town centre; Roastbusters, Bolton, will deliver two Sunday dinners to each winner and a bottle of Prosecco each from Bargain Booze, Deane Road.
