BOLTONIANS will be given paws for thought when a dog rehoming charity wheels into town.

Dogs Trust will be raising pounds for hounds when it brings its giant Dogmobile to the town centre this Wednesday and Thursday.

The bright yellow van will park up in Oxford Street, just off Victoria Square, between 10am and 4pm.

A homeless dog from Dogs Trust Manchester will greet everyone who comes along.

And experts will show potential owners details and photographs of dogs at at the centre, while offering advice on finding the perfect canine companion.

Laura Nicholas, Dogmobile assistant manager, said: “The Dogmobile is a fun, interactive way to help people find out more about rehoming a rescue dog and the brilliant work of Dogs Trust.

“Whilst dogs are not directly rehomed from the Dogmobile, if you do spot one currently at Dogs Trust Manchester that would suit your lifestyle, we encourage you to visit the centre to find out more about making a new best friend. “
