A MAN has been charged after a collision in Farnworth.
Tony Lee Hamar, aged 34, of Tonge Moor Road has been charged with perverting the course of justice, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, dangerous driving, and failing to stop and report a road traffic collision.
He appeared at Bolton Magistrates' Court on Monday and has been remanded into custody to appear at Bolton Crown Court on Monday, November 6.
Hamar was charged following a collision between a Vauxhall Astra and a Skoda Octavia in Plodder Lane, Farnworth, close to the junction with Harper Green Road.
Police said a 32-year-old man who was taken to hospital in a serious but not life-threatening condition.
