CHRISTMAS is coming for Bolton shoppers as the Albert Halls takes in the festive spirit.

The newly refurbished venue will turn into a Christmas Market on November 25.

It will feature more than 50 handmade craft and food stalls and live music performances throughout the day from the likes of The Bolton Belters.

The market is organised by local business MWL Events who first brought handmade events to the town back in 2015.

Organiser Katherine Brookes said: "We are extremely proud to be running these markets in our hometown, there's always been a big demand for handmade products and our makers always do well here.

"We have been waiting for over two years for the refurbishments to be completed at the Town Hall and when we saw the result we just knew this was the place we wanted to hold our Christmas Market this year - and if it's successful we may run more next year!"

The Bolton Handmade Christmas Market will run from 10am until 4pm with free admission.
