A man has been taken to hospital after a crash between a motorbike and a van in Farnworth this evening.
Albert Road was closed outside Farnworth Fire Station following the collision.
Police were called to the road at 6.10pm were the motorcyclist was injured.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, was treated for a suspected broken leg and taken to Salford Royal Hospital.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Firefighters from Farnworth were also on the scene assisting paramedics.
Albert Road has now been reopened.
