AN auction site which has listings for Peter Kay arena tour tickets has vowed to remove the costly purchases.
Fans have hit out after tickets for the Bolton comic's first tour in years sold out and re-emerged for sale at hiked up prices.
On eBay some sellers were even trying to flog seats for £1,999 per pair on the front row of his Manchester Arena gig in June next year.
A spokesperson for the international auction site confirmed that listings would be removed immediately and it also has the power to cancel completed sales.
They added: "Please do not attempt to sell tickets on eBay.
"Any listings for these events will be removed and sales will be cancelled. We will take action against any sellers who attempt to do this."
Other ones up for sale included six tickets for the London O2 show for £3,600 – £600 per seat – and two front row Manchester seats for £499.
All concert, festival, sports, theatre and comedy tickets must be listed on StubHub, eBay’s dedicated ticket marketplace, any sold through the eBay site are being removed
Peter Kay's official site has been directing people for tickets for the tour which spans across 2018 to 2019 through Gigs and Tours and Ticketmaster, with prices ranging from around £40 to just over £60.
More dates have been added this morning in Birmingham, Sheffield and London 'due to phenomenal public demand and will go on sale 10am tomorrow.
