A CAR was seized after the driver was found to only have a provisional licence.
The vehicle was stopped in Mancroft Avenue, off St Helens Road, overnight between January 1 and 2.
While the driver did have the correct insurance he only had a provisional licence and was unsupervised and his vehicle was only displaying L plates.
The car was seized and the driver will be appearing at court.
