MORE snow could be on the way to Bolton as the Met Office issued a weather warning.

Snow is forecast for 7am tomorrow, February 9, with sleet showers likely throughout the rest of the day.

Wind chill will create a feels-like temperature of -4 C.

A weather warning for snow and ice is in place for between midnight and 12noon.

A Met Office spokesman said: “Following a spell of rain and hill snow, temperatures will fall quickly allowing widespread ice to form on untreated pavements, cycle paths and roads. Heavy sleet, hail and snow showers will follow.

“There is a chance of injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces. Bus and train services may be delayed or cancelled, with some road closures and longer journey times possible.”
