TALENTED young musicians dazzled audiences again last night in the second day of Bolton Music Service Presents 2018.

Victoria Hall was once again alive with music as seven bands, ensembles and orchestras took to the stage.

The night was opened by Bolton Junior Youth Orchestra with renditions of the James Bond Theme and a Selection of Songs from Chicago.

They were followed by the rhythmic magic of Bolton Beginner Percussion Ensemble, who performed Chicken and Chips and Tap Clap Click.

Then some of the week's youngest musicians from Eagley Infant School Year 2 Wider Opportunities Violins wowed the audience with Violin Hold Rock, Jackaroo, Rocket Blues and Peeler's Jig.

Next up with some stunning fret work were Bolton Acoustic Guitar Ensemble who delivered and The Beatles' Michelle and Riptide, split by a solo by Benjamin Williamson.

Ladybridge and Turton Junior Strings then delighted with Senwa Dedende, Tinga Layo and Whose Pigs Are These, before The Joint Bands of St Matthew (Little Lever) Training Band and Farnworth and Halliwell Hooters Band played a trio of Mini March, Blues and Bubble Gum.

The night was then closed by Bolton Youth Brass Band with riotous renditions of James Bond, The New Recruit, Deep Harmony, and Raider's March.

Lostock Primary School Wider Opportunities Strings had been scheduled to perform but were unable to make it.

The third night of Bolton Music Centre Presents will feature in tomorrow's Bolton News, including performances from Soul Patrol and C-Rock.
