EDUCATION cuts mean that school places can no longer be guaranteed to every child in the borough, a senior councillor has warned.
Cllr Nick Peel, will put forward a motion at tonight’s full meeting of Bolton Council, calling on the government to provide “enhanced investment to fairly fund our schools.”
It also says: “Our schools are currently having to deal with the largest cuts to their budgets since the 1950s.
“Class sizes are rising and staff are already being cut due to reductions in their budgets.”
