BOXER Amir Khan has spoken out against human rights abuses in Burma.
The 25-year-old tweeted after a report from Human Rights Watch revealed the lack of action by the Burma government to stop violence between the Arakan Buddhists and Rohingya Muslims in Burma.
After the report was published, MP Sadiq Khan raised concerns with Foreign Secretary William Hague over the safety of Burma’s Muslim Rohingyas community.
Amir tweeted yesterday: “Muslim or not, innocent people are dying in Burma.
“How could we stop this?”
