AN accountancy firm has advised in the £2 million sale of a recruitment company.
Chorley Old Road accountant Cowgill Holloway has advised Aintree-based Assist Support Services Group on its acquisition of Temploy Recruitment Services, in the multi-million pound deal.
Cowgill Holloway has aided Assist to identify several acquisition targets for growth, helping the firm increase its turnover from £3 million to £35 million in just four years. The acquisition of Temploy will give Assist an industrial recruitment arm.
Robin Prestage, of Cowgill Holloway corporate finance, added: "It has been great to be instrumental in the ten-fold growth of Assist over the past four years, not only by advising on their organic growth but also actively broadening their trading portfolio. We are confident that the addition of Temploy will complement the existing businesses and contribute substantially to their overall growth strategy."
