THE other day I saw a large crowd of people standing round a Bolton statue, scratching their heads.
"That Benjamin Dobson doesn't really look like him, you know," one of them observed.
"They say the same about that Samuel Chadwick," someone else chipped in.
Just kidding.
People are saying this sort of thing about the 8ft Fred Dibnah in Oxford Street, but we all know that time dims perceptions and art will eventually become reality.
