I HOPE that sculptor Jane Robbins is accurately capturing the facial features of Bolton's Fred Dibnah.
His long-awaited statue is due to be unveiled in the town centre next Tuesday, which would have been Fred's 70th birthday, and there's no doubt it will be a great attraction for visitors and residents.
But am I the only one to feel a twinge of concern about pictures of the statue in production?
To me, it still looks like some bloke in a flat cap. Or, as one reader stated on The Bolton News website, like Coronation Street curmudgeon Percy Sugden.
