TWO clever and very different initiatives actually sound like they might make a difference to the behaviour of late-night clubbers in Bolton town centre.
Bank Street Unitarian Chapel and Christians Together are opening a night-time café in the town centre as a safe haven. Here, young people can order a taxi, have a coffee and wind down at the end of the night.
And the New York New York Bar in Bridge Street plans to give out hot buttered toast to customers at closing time. The idea is to give them something to eat and calm them down.
Let's hope these work.
