MILLIONS of us apparently like to wake up with Wogan.
New audience figures show that 8.1 million radio listeners enjoy breakfast with Terry, which is far more than the nearest young pretender, Chris Moyles, and the highest ratings since they began nine years ago.
It is really no surprise as Tezza's Irish charm offers an easygoing start to the day, especially for his TOGs - that's Terry's Old Geezers or Gals, easily recognised by their sweatshirts bearing the slogan "Do I Come Here Often?"
What is without question is that the TOGmeister and his gentle charm has tapped into both Radio 2 listeners' psyche and their sense of humour. And long may it be so.
