Not all record-breakers are cheats, are they?

THE most stunning sporting achievement of the year so far happened on Saturday when Jamaican Usain Bolt ran the second-fastest 100m of all time.

His 9.76sec was just two hundredths of a second behind Asafa Powell's world record of 9.74secs - and it was the first time he had run under 10 seconds.

It is a sad indictment of a sprinting scene which has been blighted by drug cheats like Dwain Chambers, Marion Jones, Justin Gatlin and Tim Montgomery that many people will react to Bolt's run with suspicion rather than the admiration he deserves.
