VANDALS broke into two schools in Bolton.
The Holy Infant and St Anthony's RC primary school, in Mitre Street, Astley Bridge, was targeted at around 6.30am on Saturday.
Vandals forced their way in through a panel on a door.
It not believed anything was seriously damaged.
In a separate incident, vandals targeted Horwich Parish primary school, in Church Street, between 5pm on Friday and 9.30pm on Saturday.
They broke open the padlock to a school gate and then forced a door to get into the school's sports equipment room.
They ransacked the room and threw some of the equipment outside.
